There is a saying "Value tells the story but color gets the credit".
I believe this to be true. Vivid colors are the first thing that attracts me and the viewer,
color is the emotion and as important as the composition. I work in watercolors because they
can reflect the wonderful quality of light and transparency.

I don't spend a lot of time thinking about interpretation,
hidden meaning or philosophy.
My works are representational, direct and uncomplicated.
I paint what I see.
Put a lot of "miles" on your brushes and you will have great success. |
